I should be delusional due to exams around now. But I feel strangely normal.

Slacked off after coming here for almost a year now? Maybe. Wait. I mean, yes. I've been slacking off ALOT.

Not forgetting the stuff I've done here while slacking. Been learning how to solve the Rubik's cube since let's see.. May? Heh. Now I'm trying to take up speedcubing as my hobby. I know it's nerdy but hey, I find personal gratification with this. I'll show you my 45 second average =P It's a start.

Nothing happened really in the last few months. I made a lil siren thingy with a projector around it that makes it look like a mini bazooka for electronics (Something like K.H. cept it's a lil more detailed). Apparently it's capable of setting off car alarms too. o_o

Gah. Exams are next week and I haven't studied seriously for a bit. Blogging is only temporary escape so I guess I'll head back to studies now. *sobs

Okay. Muck up day was.. somewhat..

Aights. Finally remembered to blog after like an eternity. Hmm.

Ever felt like celebrating after the end of high school? Well, it's an exclusive event here for students and they are even entitled to it! Even the school and the authorities approve of it.

Haha. Lemme start from scratch. Basically, if you are a school leaver every year, you get the right to throw pranks at everyone on the last day of school known as Muck Up Day. It's like a rite of passage.

Normally, the students would just throw fish oil, honey and jam on our locks in the locker bay. There would also be some people getting egged and water bombed. In addtion to that, there will be a few more other bizarre things like taunting the teachers by borrowing a large amount of books the week before and returning them on Muck Up Day. Boy.. that happened in my bro's school. And yeah.. you can imagine the pile of books tantalising the librarians.

Well, in these scenarios, your chances of not being affected by this is like a 50-50 chance. But this is changed altogether a few years back..

In some schools, the students occasionally got out of hand. Ours had that problem.. So they ruled out Muck Up Day and changed it into a "Celebration" instead. LoL. So we basically attended an assembly where EVERYONE had to attend. Some skipped school..they were so..fortunate.

By making us sit in the assembly-like celebration, we were basically sitting ducks waiting to be shot. Chances of 'survival'? Hmm. It's a big, fat zero. Let's just say that I've attended the Assembly of Hell.

Everyone just got owned. First, we walked in and filled up the left and right rows, then the school leavers walk up in the middle aisle to the front of the hall where their seats are reserved. And you guessed it. They unleashed hell upon us as they walk to their seats. Boy, that was the longest 5 minutes of my life.

Well, to cut a long story short, it was really an experience o_o traumatising initially but hell yeah it was funny.

Africa to Antartica? That's the best comparison I can think of.

Like the title above, what I'm feeling now is, cold hell. Yeah. Temperatures ranging from 2-10˚C every morning for the past few weeks till now. Hate the cold toilet seats which make me cringe every time I feel an urge to go to the toilet cuz I know whats coming xD well that's hell ain't it. Especially when I've just came back from Malaysia. That's like toasting me, then putting me in the freezer.

Ah well, anyways, Malaysia was the bomb =) loved every second of it. Except for the initial 5 day quarantine. That kinda sucked, although I did visit school during Hari Sukan and went to church on Sunday. Well yea. Not like I'm sick or anything =p Oh not to mention that I went to church as well =p I think the only thing that kept me busy during those 5 days was eating to my heart's content after being deprived of Malaysian food for AGES!! ^^ haha

Also, went out for lunch, met up some other guys in school on Wednesday and stuff. Caught up with old mates. Ah well. Not forgetting the part where I got sick of seeing Jeff for like more than 7 times already XD (just kiddin') Yeah.. watched Transformers 2 with Sze and gang, Tan twins, and Jeff. Can't remember all the details but yeah. I went to Singapore on the 2nd week for some shopping, came back hung out with Jeff and Sze's gang again then I left. Yeah.. to all the guys that I'm unable to go out with do to time constrains, sorry!! But, I will be back soon.. at the end of the year... but hey time passes pretty fast nowadays.

Hey but my Malaysian story didn't end just yet!
There's one thing that happened on the plane.. It was really lame. There was a flight delay for like 1 FREAKIN' HOUR and we were on the ground and all. So after announcing that during the first few minutes, the pilot went on the intercom shortly after again and said: "Ladies and gentlemen, please unbuckle your seat belts for own safety. Thank you." And yeah, you pretty much get the expressions on the passengers faces. Everyone one was like: "LOL."

Came back only to be stuffed with loads of school work and stuff keeps on coming. But ah well. I suppose this is good for making my dead brain(which is deprived of unlearnt knowledge) work. Watched some Romeo and Juliet play. It was actually surprisingly good. Although the actors actually started making out in one of the scenes. o_o It's engraved in my mind..lol but yeah other than that, it was a rather decent play..

Okay. This is extremely late but here are the pics anyway..lol

Right.. Finally got the time to blog after like.. 2 months? lol okay. Finally got the pics done. Okie.. the pics of the thanksgiving in January.

Yea those were the pictures about 6 months ago? Har har. Yea an extreme delay.

29 May 2009 1100 Hours:
Mid term exams commenced.
1st subject - Maths
2nd subject - History

29 May 2009 1500 Hours:
Mid term exams resolved.

And yesh. That was pretty lame for the exams here when Mid-terms was in ONE day with 2 subjects. Yea. Took an additional subject - Biology and sat for the test 2 weeks after(probably the only challenging topic at the moment XD)

The following week was something different where people around my age have to go on Work Experience. Yeah. We work. Our Salary? Minimum 5 bux a day. Yea most of the people got 25 dollars by the end of the week but others get higher pay if their employer isn't a cheapskate =p (I got 100 bux by the end of the week!! ahh..satisfied xp well since I'm considered one of the lucky ones anyway)

Worked at an architecture/interior design company and did some stuff related to architecture where I designed a building for fun and surveyed a construction site. Though I did do some "slave" labor like cleaning the windows and the tidying up their huge library of materials >_> ah well.

Oh and here's a pic from the work experience place. They do graphic designing for retail shops and buildings as well.

And yes, I attend a church here. LoL!! Of course (Erin, is this a rhetorical question? xD I'm joking) It's called Crossway church here. It's sorta a baptist church but it's like a small megachurch. Probably a bigger crowd than DUMC.. but they have a smaller facility. But man, their sessions are so professional and so "Hillsong"-like!! like the cameras and stuff!! X3 just too pro!! hehe =p other than that, it's pretty much good for the rest. The message, pastor, social outreach and etc is alright here. For now, I'm attending this church. Mum's thinking of going to some other place soon though =\

Term break!!

A really last minute post.. had to do it in school. Oh yea I forgot to mention that schools here are computer equipped so almost every classroom have computers in them (with internet as well =p) ah well anyways it's after school now and I'm extremely bored waiting for my mum to pick me up in 30 minutes time. So time a for a brief update.

Another month has passed and I can say that I'm finally settled in the Aussie lifestyle. Recently some guest speaker came into our school and we expected him to talk about stuff regarding the fights happening around the school recently..but it was more than that..lol the topic was "How not to be a dickhead" and we all went like: "LOL!" haha well there were stuff regarding male bullshit and he had a list of em like.. "male bullshit no.1" which is "is it ever okay to have a punch on?", "Male bullshit no.2" and other stuff like that..he even had the stuff on powerpoint..haha. Had a fire drill today and we wasted a maths period for that >_> it was pretty funny when some guys started to drop and roll on the floor as if they were on fire. Till the teachers got pissed and started yelling at them xD

Irreversible clock

Phew! A long month since I arrived. Had a bit of a difficulty in settling in for the first week of school but things are fine now. The school is pretty awesome where the facilities are really equipped and new and the teachers are way better than Malaysia =) (I feel sorry for you guys back there..hehe) School ends here at 3pm everyday ugh.. although it starts at 8.40am, but it still takes up half my afternoon >_> ah well. The bushfire here is really crazy here (it still hasn't got to my area yet, but if it does then there won't be any school!! xD) but it is contained now.. surprisingly the smoke caused by it still isn't as bad as K.L.'s haze x) Pontenging school here (called wagging here) is hard especially when the teacher tracks you down the next day for a letter..so technically I still like the Malaysian teachers where they don't really ask you for a letter the very next day. (Darn it!! Can't ponteng like I used to ><) Sigh, miss me buddies back at home.. and the food of course =p Plans to visit back home are still being considered so I may or may not be able to enjoy Malaysian food-I mean enjoy my Malaysian friends' company xD Still seeing how things are going for the next few months so all I can do is just wait..

Those Precious 19 Days

Lotsa things happened past few weeks so I'll start off with the new year =) Well, last year was great and it ended great too! And the new year started with a bang. Yes, I watched the fireworks of this place called the Verve. It had a Skyline Lounge and a rooftop with an absolutely fabulous view of the city. I had the pleasure to watch about 5 fireworks simultaniously! And to top that off, the new year came with champagne! heh =p it was Moet and Chandon I think. Had a glass xD (shh!) Will upload the pics some other time.. feeling so lazy now x)

After new year, my family moved in to our relative's house since the old house is gonna be up for rent soon. Really hectic. After the move, my cousins (which were about 5 and 8 FYI and were really annoying) always came to our room and start to bug us.. even at like 11pm? (which was supposed to be bedtime for them a.k.a. peace for us) Well, went to school after that and kinda had some fun there for about 2 weeks =)

Somewhere in between my family had a thanksgiving dinner and Jeff, Kah Hou, Rico, the Tan Twins, Janie and Nicole came. Well won't spell everything out.. so yeah we had fun.. played some games, then left. (Yes there were pics..so I shall upload the pics some other time) So the last day of school!! Hah.. Well not what I had imagined it to be but still it was great =) thanks guys.

It was a Friday, things were normal for awhile.. right until CF ended.. heh so after worship, they called me out to make a farewell speech, which I previously asked them NOT to make me do it the day before >_> but things happen. So after stuttering the whole speech up they applauded and Pn.Julie prayed for me with the whole CF there. Then they gave me a gift which they took back soon after to complete it then only give it back to me once again. After the message some mob (Jeff Ng, Jeff Teh, Enrico, Daniel, Joel, Melvin,Le On, Nicole, Janie, Han Rui, Han Yann, Christine, Audrey, Yin Yinn and a few more others..sry if I missed anyone else out) were there to give presents and hugs to me for about 10 mins? lol needed some air wei.. =) pics were taken also but I don't have them xD ask Hui Ying.. she was there to take some.

Yeah after that, it was time for me to go and we sang Amazing Grace before I left..cheesy huh =) After the "Byes' and all, I went on my way to leave.. but the story doesn't just end like that. Before CF there was this Curriculum thing going on and so since it was my last day, I joked about pissing off the prefects and breaking every school rule possible =p one of them included going into the girls toilet. Well, I didn't go at that time.. cuz I was just trying to disturb some prefects there =) but somehow, thanks to another gang, they made me go for a detour before I actually left school. And so, the last memory of the school is the girls toilet. >_> ah well. At least I didn't see anyone in there..not until the gang and I were about 10 metres outside of the toilet then Chow Ern came out.. so thank God she was in the cubicle or something ^^" Then Harminder(I think I got the spelling right) was like staring at us after we left.. scary. Well, that's pretty much the last day of school for me =) At least it was a happy one..no one cried..or so I think =p

Had lunch on the next day with Jeff Ng and Teh, Janie, Joel, Bee Lee, Nicole, Shannen and Ching. Met up at Prince cafe until 'someone' wanted western food. So we went to Greenwood cafe instead =) Had lunch and chatted with them for the last time. Oh, and Jeffrey Ng passed me a Hang Ten T-shirt that he, Rico, Daniel and Melvin bought. Thanks again guys =) Love the shirt.

Sunday, attended church in Malaysia for the last time.. Hugs and pictures taking were also present of course =3 Soon after, my family and I went back home to continue the packing and stuff..I had to find a way not to squash the little piggy that Sze Ting gave me... it took me a good 30mins for that!! >_> well no one would wanna kill that cute lil' thing rite? (cept' for ppl who killed Jeff Ng's piggy last time xD) Went to bed early since our flight was at 9.50am.

Monday, woke up at 5.45am? Ah, it doesn't matter. It was kinda hard to get up anyway. Somehow we had to ask my Aunt to fetch us there since the KLIA limo guy couldn't find his way to my relative's house lol..and so, at 9.30 we went in to the departure gates.. Mum, bro and I waved goodbye to dad since he was going to U.S. and his flight was at 9.55am.

Boarded the plane, and looked out the window as the country that I had lived in for 15 years started to fade away from my sight. The earphones were ringing in my ears. As I closed my eyes, the sun shone a bright morning light, refracting in the tears that had welled up in my eyes. And I thought, "What now?"

Do you have memories that you never want to forget?
The Boy.
